“When looking at deep excavations in variable, soft ground the accuracy and reliability of your information is essential. The detail and clarity of the information received from Infotec enabled us to develop the design with confidence. Infotec’s well managed and well communicated process also meant that we could factor this into our design process, ensuring that we could de-risk the technical solution of this complex development.”

Ed Moseley | Cofounder & Director | London Structures Lab

“Thanks for your hard work on the Bagley Brook survey – I appreciate the challenges were not easy to overcome but the quality of your output was exceptional. We are successfully using it to undertake a number of very difficult design coordination exercises.”

Thames Water Trunk Sewer – Wembley
One of the site constraints at Wembley was the live trunk Sewer which ran through the middle of the site. There was a period of removing survey providers from the tender which didn’t have the technical capability or the knowledge for undertaking the works but this still didn’t stop some returning what looked like a keen price. I selected Infotec based on their evidenced capability and knowledge particularly of the Wembley area and also the communication with Robert who was upfront, clear and came to the table with options. Needless to say, the trunk sewer was successfully surveyed both with CCTV and LiDAR equipment which captured all our requirements. Thames Water permit applications and access requirements were all taken care of by Robert and his team. I would highly recommend Infotec, Robert and his team for the survey work undertaken at Wembley”

Jon Fitzgerald | Project Lead | Regal London

“We came to Infotec Surveys for a problematic technical survey of a deep TW sewer. An alternative supplier had failed to gain entry on a number of occasions due to the TW management system and due to the water levels in the sewer. On a recommendation we came to Infotec Surveys. Infotec Surveys gave assurance from day one that they understood the TW entry systems well and could save time by applying for the mandatory recce and survey at the same time. They also assured us that whatever was found in the sewer that they had the technology, equipment and expertise to carry out the survey. This was time critical for the project. Infotec Surveys provided an excellent customer interaction and kept us informed of progress on at least a weekly basis and responded immediately to any emails or calls we put in. True to their word the timescales were met, and the survey was undertaken. The given timescales for the survey reports were then expedited at the Clients request. I would have no hesitation at recommending Infotec Surveys on my future projects.”

Jo Igoe | Associate Director | Cast Consultancy

“Infotec undertook a series of manhole and drainage surveys for Skanska for a central London Project. The Infotec team were great throughout. The back of house team were quick to produce/update quotations and provide updates on when the works would take place. The site team were equally as professional and we are very happy with the quality of information produced. We would certainly use Infotec again.”

James Wildgoose | Senior Engineer | Building | Skanska

“Good Afternoon Kirsty, hope you are doing well.
I want to thank you for your tireless effort and contribution on this project. The service that you have provided is absolutely exemplar. Your email and telephone correspondence was always polite, professional and you spoke with confidence. The delivery of information was communicated clearly and all dates met as stated.
I very much appreciate your honesty regarding the difficulties that you and your team faced and the clarity by which you communicated any technical and managerial issues. As a last point, your focus on the Health and Safety of your staff is commendable.
I will most definitely come direct to you for any future surveys required.”

Ulrich Groenewald | Associate Director | HDR Inc

“Due to various site conditions and a critical need for high levels of accuracy for tracing a mainline brick sewer we were recommended by other industry specialist to contact the team at Infotec. From initial contact all the way through to delivery of survey data Infotec were fantastic even with the survey location being 250 miles away from their main base. A survey scope was discussed of what we were trying to achieve and from their experience they then recommended the best survey type to obtain the information required. All deadlines met, all communications via Kirsty and Molly were fluid and easy to manage the works remotely. All output documents covered everything requested, a pleasure to work with and will continue to use in the future as and when required.”

Dave Middleton | CCTV Manager | R&M Utility and Civil Engineering Services

“From initial contact right through to project completion; Infotec were a pleasure to deal with. Infotec were appointed as a specialist sub-contractor on a development where we needed a line, level and full condition survey for a Build Over Agreement which included pre and post construction surveys. Kirsty & Molly were very helpful to liaise with and kept us up to date with all aspects of the survey and results. They liaised with the relevant local authority regarding access approvals and managed this process throughout. Thank you for your professional service.”

Ríona Magennis | Design Manager | FARRANS

“Due to the challenging constraints associated with our trunk sewer survey, we found it difficult to procure a contractor which could deliver our survey technical requirements quickly whilst also adhering to the extremely strict safety requirements of the local water authority. Infotec offered a technical solution which met our specification at a reasonable cost, where other reputable contractors could not. We experienced a professional and diligent service from the Infotec team, and this provided a level of comfort that we were dealing with an experienced outfit.”

Terry Unitt | Associate Director - Project Management and Cost Consultancy | RPS Group | Consulting UK & Ireland

“On a development requiring a line, level and condition survey of a Strategic Combined sewer we had come to an impasse in agreeing on the survey with Thames Water as there were issues in permitting the traditional personnel access type surveys. We appointed Infotec with their non-personnel access survey methodologies and following direct liaison between them and Thames Water, the relevant gateways were approved and the survey executed in-line with our programme and tolerance requirements. Infotec successfully delivered the desired information with minimal input required from us.”

Mike Valmas | Head of Preconstruction | Mount Anvil

Infotec Surveys were engaged to facilitate a build-over redevelopment of one of London most prestigious landmark sites. Significant and critical Thames Water sewer and UKPN Cable Tunnels passing under the proposed prime residential development site, required precise positional information to prove the viability of the proposed project design.
Infotec delivered full 3D infrastructure mapping data for the site using their remote survey capabilities. The site was subsequently purchased from Royal Mail and plans are now to extend the development with the purchase of adjacent sites already being considered.
“Thanks to Infotec and the expertise of their surveyors, our planned development of the former ‘Mount Pleasant Post Office’ was agreed and build-over consent was granted.”

Richard Hoile | Partner | The Livemore Partnership (on behalf of Royal Mail)

“Rob – Please pass on my thanks to your team. The survey works were carried out by your team on time and to budget and the results have exceeded our expectations. The point survey data is very impressive and has enabled us to agree with the Water Authority the condition of the deep sewer prior to my Clients works being carried out. This has removed a huge risk element in both cost and programme for the project. I have no hesitation in recommending your services on future projects.”

Toby Crayden | Director | MLM Group
